More information is available at Job DescriptionAvaloq are looking to launch a new B2B software & services proposition to the Private banking and Wealth management industry. We are amid defining our Go-To-Market and Sales strategy to achieve clearly defined revenue goals. This is a unique opportunity for a senior market facing leader to own and help achieve the revenue targets of our exciting and ambitious endeavour. During our growth phase you will be part of a lean markets organisation and are expected to 'do & think' - transition from detailed to big picture thinking activities.Apply for the position of a Sales Director if you are a high-performing Sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and are passionate about seeing a new venture succeed.The main responsibility of the role is to drive new business initiatives and customer acquisition in UK. You will need to demonstrate well rounded knowledge of the Private Banking & Wealth management industry and marketplace in the region. Additionally, can speak with authority, e.g., on market trends, best practices, competitive practices, regulatory issues, etc. This role is a quota bearing role.Key aspects of the role are:An insatiable hunger to find, create and win new businessProactively assess, clarify and validate market and customer segment attractiveness and potentialActively create and drive pipeline by identifying, matching and engaging Financial Institutions in Private Banking, Wealth and Asset Management with our new propositionDeveloping and executing sales strategies, tactics and action plans in order to achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectivesDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of the region including the customers, the prospects, the partners, the influencers, and the competitorsDrive events and raise the profile of Avaloq and its new proposition within the regionProactively and creatively generate demand, high conversion rates, short sales cycle and high win ratioQualificationsExpected skills and qualifications are: Strong proven track record of Sales leadership in the Wealth and Core Banking Industry; meeting, or exceeding targets.  Excellent negotiation skills, a good business sense, and strong leadership with the ability to motivate and lead a team.Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and ability to negotiate complex dealsProven financial Acumen: Use financial analysis to make decisions, evaluate opportunities and choices; know how financial decisions impact business successStrong influencing capability and a collaborative and partnership-oriented approachYou will get Extra points for:Global experience is an added advantage – in particular in EuropeBachelor’s Degree, MBA a plusAdditional InformationNow let's talk about perks and compensationWe have a hybrid work week model, giving colleagues flexibility in how they work, as well as ensuring we create our unique Avaloq culture in our office locations.
