Job Description:

EU customs team require a customs controller to offer support for key customs activities related to the import and export of new vehicles into/from the UK and EU. The candidate will offer strong support to Customs management and allow additional resilience to customs operations.

[ads1] Job Responsibilities:
  • Support on customs audits (UK / ES)
  • Support Internal audit activities
  • Support customs management on preparing large data analysis
  • Analyse and report forecast costs/savings
  • Support customs operations as and when require
  • Attend to customs duty reclaims and liaise with UK and Spanish customs authorities
  • Monitor and report import duty costs arising from vehicle movements between different ports within the UK and EU
  • Reporting of functional costs / savings through bespoke system
Job Requirements:
  • Advanced technical skills and ability to understand bespoke IS applications
  • Graduate level
  • Knowledge of International Trade would be advantageous
  • Proficient in MS excel
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Structured, analytical approach/mindset
