Greenwell Gleeson are excited to be working exclusively with a high growth, profitable and fast growing service sector business based in Worcestershire.
This is a brand new role that is going to play a critical part in growing the business. The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. Based in the United Kingdom, this position collaborates closely with the Group Finance Team while reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Timely and accurate preparation of the monthly management accounts
*
Accurate maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations to include oversight of the monthly balance sheet
*
Monitoring and overseeing of Cash Flows
*
Planning and Forecasting the Group working capital requirements in conjunction with the Managing Director
*
Lead the budgeting preparation process annually in Q3 in conjunction with the Business units
*
Preparation of P&L by service and meeting with Business Units managers to interpret the financial performance of the business units in line with the manager’s KPIs
*
Support the business units with Commercial awareness and understanding of the Job costings
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar executive role
*
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
*
In depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
*
This role offers hybrid working (3 days office, 2 home), Occasional travel will be involved to Ireland 1-2 days per month, excellent salary and benefits on offer plus career progression
