You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality processes, conduct thorough inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Sector: Our client works with a range of engineering business worldwide to design and deliver complex equipment associated with offshore wind farm development, subsea equipment installation and oil & gas intervention systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a champion for the “Quality – Right First Time” initiative.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to establish comprehensive quality standards and specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor all stages of product development and production through our projects.
  • Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the Quality Management.
  • Prepare and review project Quality documents including those of 3rd parties.
  • Provide support to Project teams in the development of Quality Plans.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Analyse quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead or participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address non-conformities and prevent recurrence.
  • Facilitate supplier quality assessments and establish strong partnerships with key suppliers to drive quality improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on quality-related matters, including training and awareness initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's quality management system (QMS) to ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Champion a culture of quality excellence, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organisation.
Qualifications:
  • Experience within a Quality role or a similar role.
  • MS package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project)
  • Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
  • Previous experience within an engineering or construction environment.
