An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Electronics Commodity Manager to join our global Procurement Direct Materials organization. The Global Electronics Commodity Manager will have responsibility for total Purchasing Volume (PVO) of the Electronics categories; End to end ownership and Management of Electronics Commodities, fostering cross-functional alignment with operational Factory Managers, regional Commodity Manager, R&D, Product Owners, Finance and other supporting functions.
Define and implement commodity and pooling strategies (based on conducted demand, market and supplier analyses): evaluate and document in Commodity Strategy Master and update regularly; Define and implement Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Management strategies to maximize savings. Negotiate frame contracts and document all contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems.
Systematically share all relevant procurement related information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to ensure all stakeholders are up to date.
Identify particular procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage/ maximise potential opportunities through tailored risk management and change management, including supply continuity.
Supplier Management: supplier selection, (incl. It is essential that candidate has proven strategic procurement and commodity management experience
~ 3 years experience in Commodity Management for Direct Materials, ideally Electronics
~ Good communication skills as will be required to work with cross functional partners, including but not limited to Operations, Logistics, Product Management & Engineering.
~ Results-focused with the ability to set and work towards specific goals, identifying risks and plans for contingencies to ensure delivery.
~ Identify and create opportunities in own area to contribute to the commercial success of the company.
~ Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP experience.26 days holiday, increasing up to 29 days with length of service.
