Asset& Liability Management (ALM) acts as a first line of defence forTreasury and is responsible for monitoring and managing liquidity,funding & cashflow risks, IRRBB & FTP. The individual should be highly motivated with a strongfocus on operational activities in relation to data management,reporting and the control framework.
The ALM Analyst will report to the Head of ALM, who will beresponsible for performance review meetings, 121’s and developmentconversations.
The Bank’scashflow management and forecasting process
Overseeing themanagement of daily liquidity requirements, to include the running,monitoring and reporting of key metrics
Supporting the management of the Bank’s liquidassets buffer in adherence with internal and regulatory limits
Assisting in the management of the Bank’s IRRBB exposure inline with Bank policy
This role will grow in line withthe growth of the Bank and the Treasury function and will provide anopportunity to shape the function into a Centre of Excellence.
Individual should expect high involvement with Treasurysystems implementation in 2024/25 (Siena, Eurobase) as theorganisation looks to embed the new Treasury & Risk system
Provide holiday coverfor ALM, which will involve exposure to Liquidity, Funding, IRRBB andFTP activities to include monitoring and reporting
Be highly experienced in all areas of Bank ALM managementand have at least 2-5 years experience working in Treasury functionwithin the financial services industry
Have in-depthknowledge and proven history of liquidity / funding risk managementand stress testing and good knowledge of IRRBB and FX risk
Have awareness of non-ALM related risk such ascredit, operational, capital and legal
Experience of implementing and developing ALM systems andability to interrogate underlying data
Proven stakeholder management and ability to manage competingpriorities as they arise
A co-operative and collaborativeattitude who can work well in and across teams, both within finance /treasury and across the wider business
