Our client, a leader within the UK construction market, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join their Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Team. If you have a background in H&S or ISO Standards, with a strong understanding of environmental, safety, and sustainability principles, this could be the perfect role for you
As a Health and Safety Advisor/Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the team, learning about how our client manages the risks associated with their business activities. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with health and safety and environmental policies and procedures, while also assisting in the development and maintenance of ISO management systems and accreditations.
The position offers a competitive salary starting from £35,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including an employer contribution pension scheme, death in service, health cash plan, and a bonus scheme. You will also enjoy 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
Investigate new safety initiatives and develop procedures, safe systems of work, and criteria for implementation.
# Conduct site inspections and prepare RAMS (Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and COSHH Assessments) for all site activities.
# NEBOSH Construction qualification.
Strong administrative skills, including data analysis.
While the position is primarily Monday to Friday, some flexibility is required to cover overtime and travel to various site locations.
