We are delighted to be working exclusively with a manufacturing business and to hire a passionate operations professional to take on the role of head of operations and report directly to the plant director.
With up to five direct reports, you will be instrumental in leading the manufacturing transformation required to achieve strategic business goals of growth and operational excellence in delivery lead time, cost, productivity, safety, quality and people management.
This role demands a background in production assembly, implementing efficiency, effectiveness and Continuous Improvement.
We want a problem solver and a leader passionate about building an outstanding and diverse team.

Develop and implement strategies to deliver operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, lead time, cost, and productivity.
Sustain world-class health, safety, and environmental performance by working cross-functionally with the EHS lead.
Maintain company KPIs, ensuring targets flow up and down from the shop floor to business leadership; Proven experience in a highly complex assembly environment within manufacturing - medical, food & drink, chemical, electrical or engineering sectors.
