At SimCorp, we facilitate the streamlining of investments, accounting, and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, business consultants are essential to us.
In the role of Principal Business Consultant specializing in Accounting, your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients' projects. You will normally be working full-time on implementation projects, which require your special expertise in the Accounting area, and you will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream. Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects: You know the customers' requirements and processes related to Accounting at banks, asset managers and insurers and outline solutions for optimal use of SimCorp Dimension.
Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success.
Identify opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope to our customers in your role as a trusted advisor.
Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects.
Degree in economics/finance, mathematics/computer science or similar qualification.
Work experience with Accounting of financial investments as a Senior Business Analyst, Senior Accountant, or Senior Consultant from banks, asset managers, insurers or consulting firms.
Ideally, you have SimCorp Dimension experience or you are familiar with implementing financial software.
Hands on experience with one of the following Accounting related processes:
Financial accounting and General Ledger for IFRS9 or local GAAPs.
Data Migration.
High communication and consulting skills and a high degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation and quality consciousness.
Fluency in English, and other European language skills are considered a valuable skill.
Willingness to travel.
