Head of Infrastructure - Financial Services- London- £100,000 Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading Financial Servicescompany who are currently looking for an experienced Head of Infrastructureto join their business on a permanent basis.
the planning, design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and improvement of the businesses technology infrastructure in order to ensure that it is secure, robust and reliable. Proactively contribute to the IT strategy with regards to infrastructure and security requirements so that it remains fit for purpose and supports business growth
• Act as a technical escalation and review point for all infrastructure solutions in conjunction with the Head of Digital Transformation
• Implement and oversee the deployment of Cyber security and IT infrastructure technologies
• Assist in the ongoing management of disaster recovery and continuity planning
• Assist in the production and maintenance of technical documentation and policies relating to IT infrastructure and related business processes
• Responsible for assisting and the contribution of effective risk management and control systems and procedures within the department
• Ensure that all firm wide policies and procedures are complied with and ensure that these are understood by the team
• Keep abreast of changes in relevant regulations, procedures and policies and complete or attend any appropriate training arranged by the firm from time to time
• Oversee and participate in various departmental ad-hoc working groups
Strong technical knowledge and capability in the implementation and configuration of security and IT systems
• In depth knowledge and ability to architect infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft technologies
• IT Security accreditation and/or strong knowledge and demonstrable experience in this area
• Experience with data governance and structure (desirable)
• Window Server 2019 and services
• Cyber security experience
