Overview:

Finatal is working with a PE backed SaaS business, seeking a Head of FP&A (first time hire) to play a pivotal role supporting the CFO with the division of their financial strategy and execution of their commercial growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Redevelop and manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing strategic recommendations to drive business performance.
  • Ensure alignment between financial planning and operational execution.
  • Lead initiatives to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years proven experience in a senior FP&A role, ideally within a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS business.
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and drive strategic decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
