Maintenance Supervisor – Carlisle – Reporting to the MBT Site Manager
Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 (Shift coverage required on odd occasion)
Paid overtime (between 37.Are you an electrically and mechanically trained engineer looking to lead a high performing maintenance team? This role will head up a small team of site-based engineers, driving a safety-first mentality whilst being responsible for controlling and managing all maintenance aspects to ensure total plant reliability by reducing downtime.

This role will allow you to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and be proactive in the development of practices and systems.

Ensure, through the maintenance team on site, there is efficient and effective planned and reactive maintenance at all times and that downtime is minimised
• Liaise with the wider site management team and ensure issues are communicated, priorities and actions are understood, and updates are provided to your team
• To assist operations on completing a weekly/monthly maintenance schedule for all planned, unplanned and emergency work orders
• Drive and lead solutions to prevent reoccurrence of maintenance issues on site
• Assist in mechanical and electrical plant upgrades as assigned by Lifecycle Team Manager to ensure CLEER/Capex forms are completed on time and effectively
Essential criteria for the Maintenance Supervisor role:
• Electrically and mechanically trained, with time served experience working in a production environment, fault finding and diagnostics, reactive breakdown repairs, planned maintenance work orders
• possess a diploma or HNC/HND/C+G Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND/C+G Mechanical Engineering (or industry equivalent)
• You will ideally have experience working within the waste industry, but experience in other process based industries such as waste water, manufacturing, quarrying etc would be considered
