Oaklea’s Children and Young People team seeks to promote young people’s personal and social development and enable them to have a voice, influence and place in their communities and society as a whole. Youth Group Leader - The Role: Oaklea’s Youth groups offer young people a safe place to explore their identity, experience decision-making, increase their confidence, develop inter-personal skills and think through the consequences of their actions. As a Youth Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating a team of employees and volunteers to provide group support to children and young people across a number of different settings. The post will require flexibility as times of working will vary and will include afternoons and weekend support and maybe considered as a job share role. Car driver is essential. Youth Group Leader - The candidate: We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and vibrant individual to lead our Children & Young people’s team. The successful applicant will be integral to both the planning and delivery of our offer to children & young people in the community, we deliver a number of programmes including our HAF programme and our Targeted Short breaks offer both afterschool groups and holiday activities for children and young people with disabilities.
