Horizon Teachers are currently working with an Ofsted good rated Primary School in Redhill that are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in their Year 2 class that requires close support as they have Complex needs.
As a Learning Support Assistant you will need to help the class teacher support them and use your initiative to help care for their needs. You will need to be resilient and be able to quickly create a rapport with the child.
This school has great transport links and they work hard to provide a welcoming environment to prepare students to be confident and happy within their education.
This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £600 per week. The role is to start ASAP until the end of the next academic year, on a full time basis.
What the school are looking for in their Learning Support Assistants:
  • Experience supporting children within a Nursery or School setting.
  • Experience supporting people with physical needs or personal care needs is very desirable.
