As a Change Operations Manager for the Site Procurement Operations Center (SPOC) team in the EUK region, you will develop and help implement the strategic vision to improve key non-inventory processes that support our internal customers. This role will require someone who will design standardized business workflows with mechanisms to sustain these across multiple business units and with multiple stakeholders. You will be at the center of the indirect supply chain at Amazon, working across functional lines to bring together non-inventory, operations, transportation, category, marketing, process excellence, and safety teams to ensure the movement of supply through the Amazon network. The Change Operations Manager will dive deep to uncover opportunities to improve Key Performance Indicators and drive efficiencies across the business.
You will work cross functionally across Global Procurement Operations (GPO) pillars including Category, Supplier Management, and Site Procurement while partnering with operations and suppliers to balance risk and efficiency in our global supply chain. This role will be required to invent and simplify and continually rethink how we manage inventory and execute our processes.

The Site Procurement Operations Center (SPOC), reporting into the Global Procurement Organization (GPO), ensures that Amazon gets value for money for non-inventory goods to provide the Fulfillment Centers with the necessary shipping supplies they need to operate smoothly. This includes securing the constant flow of packaging goods and services, supplied at the best overall value to the business on a day to day basis, Blanket Purchase Order management, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) bridging ownership, Accounts Payable invoice hold resolution, site launch support, and escalation management. Develop and implement strategies to ensure continuity of supply of goods and services within the network
* Manage multiple complex cross-regional and cross-functional projects end-to-end
* Monitor performance metrics, and report on the status of key objectives through W/M/QBR mechanisms
* Partner with internal teams to identify problems and real-time solutions, including data analytics and reporting
* Work with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth and scalability of the business
* Develop business cases for SPOC to support new internal businesses
* Stakeholder and Senior Leadership (L7+) communications - including but not limited to Lessons Learned/Whistlestop documents/Field communication/newsletters
The SPOC team is a global team responsible for ordering, forecasting, and demand planning for non-inventory goods and services. We prioritize our operations customers while developing strong relationships with suppliers, and key stakeholders across the Global Procurement Organization and other Amazon businesses. Our team centralizes non-inventory processes in order to drive standardization, cost reduction, and efficiencies, and operates on a 24/7 basis to provide consistent support to stakeholders.
