Role Description
This is a freelance Commissioning Editor role at Future Medicine for the journal Concussion , which publishes original research, reviews and commentaries addressing the assessment, management and long-term implications of concussion. The Commissioning Editor will be responsible for outreach and commissioning articles, managing manuscript submissions, communication with authors, editorial tasks, and conducting research.
Qualifications
- Manuscript coordination and publishing skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Experience in editorial tasks
- Strong research skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in the medical or scientific publishing industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a life sciences subject.
Preferred
- A background in neuroscience
