Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Job Type: Full-Time (5 days a week), Long Term and or Daily Supply Cover
Remedy are a reputable recruitment agency focused on placing skilled professionals in schools across London. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term positions or for daily supply cover work.
We are looking for experienced and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs in our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with SEN students and a commitment to providing high-quality support to enhance their learning experience.
Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both in and outside of the classroom.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering SEN-friendly lessons and activities.
Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for SEN students.Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies for support.
Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting the needs of SEN students.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (e.g., Level 3 TA qualification, SENCO training) are advantageous.Competitive salary.
