Job Title: Support Specialist for Students with Special Needs

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to provide tailored support to students aged 3-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEND) at a specialist school in Hartley. This full-time position involves working closely with students to help them reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Help manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children and young adults with special needs are essential

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in SEND education are beneficial but not required
  • A competitive hourly rate of £14.66 is offered
