This pivotal role will support our staff’s needs today and strategize for our future, ensuring continued success through effective and strategic HR management. Foster a positive company culture that aligns with our values of excellence, high performance, and quality, while ensuring a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Oversee HR operations for a BC-based staff, including payroll, recruitment, training, and events.
Manage and optimize HR Information Systems (HRIS) to enhance HR processes efficiently.
Develop, implement, and track HR-related budgets, including recruiting, company training, and events.
Draft, review, and improve company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Lead a small HR team, providing direction and support in all HR activities.
Engage in strategic planning, contributing to the overall growth and direction of the company.
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., 3-10 years of HR experience, with a proven track record in leading an HR department.
~ Expertise in managing BC-based payroll and familiarity with relevant payroll and HRIS platforms.
~ Demonstrated leadership and high performance in a fast-paced environment.
~ Strong budget management skills, specifically related to HR recruiting, company training, and events.
~ Strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills, able to balance day-to-day HR responsibilities with broader strategic objectives.
