We're looking for a talented Senior Occupational Therapist to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions for the generic Adult Social Care service within the City of London and to work as part of the Reablement service ensuring compliance with CQC requirements. The goal is to ensure the delivery of a responsive, high-quality service that offers value for money and meets the City’s statutory requirements.

Whilst initially this is a temporary role, there is potential for the role to become permanent in the future. In this position, you'll be needed to work weekends and shifts during unsociable hours. Support a holistic, strengths-based approach to adults.
Manage hospital discharges: Assess risk and activities of daily living in conjunction with the Duty Senior Practitioner managing Adult Social Care Duty.
Focus on all aspects of activities of daily living, always seeking to maximize independence and explore creative home-based alternatives to care home or hospital admissions.Qualifications: Social and health care (qualified) - Grade E Level 1 - Occupational Therapist.

Record data using MOSAIC and maintain detailed records of performance data, outcomes, and targets according to national and local indicators.
Implement rehabilitation plans with social work staff for reassessment.
Conduct assessments for Telecare, Taxi Card, and Freedom passes (independent mobility assessments).
Provide assessments and support for Disability Facilities Grants (DFG) and major adaptations, monitoring their development and management.
Manage and provide community paediatric occupational therapy, including assessments and technical support.
Manage a clinical caseload of generic Adults who meet OT eligibility criteria.
As the Senior Occupational Therapist, you'll report to the Adult Social Care Team Manager and provide support as required.

23 per hour
