Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Grounds Operative to join Conwy Council’s Environmental Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 7am to 6pm on a rota basis including occasional weekends. (To be responsible for the general cleanliness of an area to include mechanical, hand sweeping and litter collection using a handcart.

* To be responsible for the emptying of litter and dog bins.

* To collect fly tipping.

* To act as a point of contact for Council Services and to observe and report any general community needs, defects or damage including the general status and condition of street nameplates, street signs, road gullies, seats, litter and dog bins etc.

* Carry out a range of maintenance operations on Open Spaces street furniture
