RedCloud is leveraging AI-powered technology to break down the barriers to fair and profitable trade in emerging markets. RedCloud's Intelligent Open Commerce Platform connects FMCG Brands, Distributors, and Local Merchants on a single, equitable marketplace, empowering them with real-world insights and data to help them make better decisions. RedCloud enables FMCG Brands to seize new opportunities in emerging markets, facilitates access to more buyers & streamlines operations for Distributors, and helps Local Merchants spend more time selling products, not searching for them.
The company comprises a highly diverse, dynamic team of driven talented people from over twenty different countries, speaking multiple languages, with a physical footprint in Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
As part of our global team, you will be instrumental in refining and executing the product strategy for RedInsights, our data platform that transforms data from our marketplace into actionable insights for FMCG brands and distributors. Customer and Market Engagement: Act as the customer advocate, aligning product development with customer needs and market expectations in Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil, and Argentina.
Product Strategy Development: Discovery and Validation: Engage in thorough discovery to formulate product hypotheses and validate these through market research and direct feedback, identifying potential risks and strategies to address them.
Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and local teams to align the product development with strategic business goals
Manage feature specification, customer journeys, user stories and product delivery, employing agile practices to ensure timely and responsive product iteration.
Coordinate with local teams to develop Go-to-Market plans, ensuring continuous product feedback and iteration based on market response.
5+ years of experience working with insights, analytics and data product management
~ Experience with conceiving and driving the product strategy with support from senior management
~ Solid experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Agile project management tools
~ Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across Product, Data, Sales, Marketing and GTM
~ Experience in or understanding of the FMCG sector is beneficial but not mandatory
~ Familiarity with data visualisation tools (ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
