Due to phenomenal growth, we have a new opportunity for a talented 'Commercial Administrative Assistant' to join our award-winning team in Hatfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple divisions including global mail, fulfilment, distribution, subscription and eCommerce business.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, this role will see you be accountable for ensuring invoices are paid and accurate, challenging suppliers to enhance value, bench mark and provide cost analysis. The successful person will have extensive Excel knowledge to cleanse data reports for both internal and external customers.

Principles Responsibilities:

Create new services and assist with supplier rates administration on Pathfinder and keep a record of rate changes
Produce Worldware files for Operations
Checking supplier invoices against dispatch dockets for cost, numerical accuracy and reconciling invoices onto Pathfinder
Manually checking supplier invoices against rates and numerical accuracy for non-Pathfinder invoices
Raising purchase orders, invoice queries and communicate invoice discrepancies to suppliers, agree credit notes when appropriate
Create new services and update supplier rates on eCommerce management system
Liaising with team members, operations team and other departments re. various invoice and customer queries
Produce USPS monthly invoices

Key Skills/Qualification

Knowledge of Excel for report generation
Solid knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel
Ability to generate monthly reports
Verbal comprehension and written communication skills.
To work in a fast-paced environment.
To work to tight deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
Understanding of the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

Location: Hatfield
Normal hours will be 09:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch.
