PIPS NURSERY - Boytons Farm are looking for a Nursery Assistant Apprentice, you will be studying toward your Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship.
PIPS is a small Essex based children's nursery, providing a unique home-from-home environment for your children. Our two locations surrounding the historical town of Saffron Walden in Strethall and Hempstead, both provide a rural setting where the children enjoy plenty of fresh air and exercise.
As your role as an Early Years Practitioner, you will have some understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Be familiar and have some understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities in Childcare provisions. Be able to plan exciting, inviting and challenging learning opportunities that are appropriate for the stage and age of the children Develop good, strong and positive relationships with both the children and their families Be able to work independently and as part of a team. To assist team members in providing the highest standard of care and education for the children in daily operation of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
· To liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements.
· To adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures
· To contribute ideas to planning ensuring children receive high quality of learning and development.
· Training to be provided
Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.Level 3 Ealy Years Educator Apprenticeship
Working hours Please note that anyone under the age of 18 can only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship
