About Girbau UK we pride ourselves on providing market-leading service and support to our customers across the UK. Our Field Service team delivers professional, friendly, and efficient responses to equipment breakdowns and ensures a reliable service and maintenance program.

Ideally you will have experience as a commercial laundry engineer however, if you bring technical experience from any industry involving electronics, electrical, or natural gas, we would love to hear from you, as we provide full training on our appliances.

Alongside your existing skills and experience, we’re looking for self-starters who are able to think outside the box, but also being engaged team players who will collaborate, innovate, and use their passion to ensure our customers experience an exceptional journey with us.

Perform routine repairs and maintenance on Girbau and third-party commercial laundry equipment at customer sites.
Accurately record working times and job details in our service management system.
Ensure all industry and local regulations, guidelines and requirements are met during every visit
Maintain a well-organized and clean van stock.
Conduct electrical fault finding on all appliances, adhering to current regulations.
Competently and accurately locate and rectify mechanical issues
Keep your gas qualifications up to date with company-provided training and gas safe registration.
Provide on-site training for customers on Girbau appliances as needed.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Complete a daily allocation of 4 to 6 jobs, depending on travel distance.
Electrically competent, ideally qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3.
Knowledge of Safe System of Work (SSW) and electrical isolation.
Qualified in Commercial Gas and Laundry with current ACS certification desirable.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in laundry maintenance and gas servicing.
Full clean UK driving license
