Marketing CoOrdinator / PA

We are a leading independent distributor of chemicals based in the UK. We are distributors for some of the World's largest chemical companies, handling thousands of chemical products which we supply to our customers in various packaging types or by road tankers. Our products are used in support of every facet of modern life including the production of clean water, pharmaceuticals, food, paints & coatings, textiles, automotive, cosmetics, cleaning products and the removal of emissions from the air.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team, usually based at our Manchester office but occasionally visiting other sites around the UK and Ireland in support of your role. You will report directly to the Managing Director, additionally assisting with projects and administrative matters when required. General Duties - the role involves all aspects of marketing and communication, externally and internally, engaging closely with the Board and management team to understand and promote our business. The role is rich in variety and scope, with the opportunity for the right candidate to grow and learn about business and the chemical industry. Digital marketing; managing website content, social media & presentations

· Branding; liaising with suppliers to design and produce printed literature in support of the commercial team

· Planning and delivery of trade shows, corporate events and company socials

· Report writing and analysis

· Project management (varies)

· Making travel and hotel arrangements

· Degree at university level (Marketing) or relevant marketing experience

· IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

· Experience in web content editing using DotNetNuke (DNN) an advantage
