Brand Ambassador and Marketing Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team at Northern Healthcare. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a vital role in promoting our brand and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Brand Representation: Professionally represent Northern Healthcare and ensure clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  2. PR and Communications: Manage local and national PR through copywriting, case study creation, and press release distribution, liaising with business development and services teams.
  3. Campaign Development: Develop in-house PR strategies and campaigns to promote our brand and services.
  4. Crisis Management: Manage crisis situations and community engagement as required.
  5. Media Outreach: Research suitable media outlets, editors, and present as required, ensuring press and media contacts are kept updated with promotional information.
  6. Content Creation: Develop and promote webinars and podcasts with internal staff, and create promotional materials and liaise with designers and printers for production.
  7. Internal Communications: Assist in designing and coordinating internal and external communication initiatives, and manage budgets and suppliers.
  8. Marketing Analytics: Prepare marketing statistics and assess the results of PR/marketing campaigns.
  9. Event Management: Book and coordinate exhibition and event activities, and attend events as required.
  10. Quality Assurance: Proofread marketing materials and printed literature, and assist in planning and drafting internal and external newsletters.
  11. Team Collaboration: Work with the Marketing Manager on a range of projects, and collaborate with the team to manage regular social media activities and review social media impact and engagement through analytics.
  12. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on communication activity, reviewed against set KPIs and communicate to the wider business.
Requirements
  1. Marketing Expertise: A solid understanding of the role that PR, communications, and events play in promoting and driving value for the brand.
  2. Experience: Minimum of four years' experience in a similar marketing role, with a high standard of spoken and written English, excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
  3. Creative Skills: Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills, experience in communications scheduling and content planning, and excellent computer skills, including MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, databases.
  4. PR and Stakeholder Relations: Experience in managing marketing campaigns, both offline and online, and experience of PR and stakeholder relations.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Marketing Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in marketing, public relations, or journalism, as well as strong experience in a similar role.
  2. Business Acumen: A good understanding of the full marketing mix, and comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving organization.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience using Salesforce and WordPress.
