In the role of the Lead BESS Engineer, you will play a key role establishing engineering operational processes within the BESS project delivery organization. Besides leading the process definitions, you will be at the centre of ensuring that the projects is commissioned and operates as per project contractual specifications. Work closely with global product solutions teams to prepare project specific integration test plans and ensure that tests and reviewed and validated in time Support country level project teams on project commissioning, SAT and grid compliance (lead in new markets) Review and approve engineering deliverables pertaining to control system (wiring diagrams, I/O lists, control logics, IP mapping, network routing, etc.) Understand grid compliance testing requirements/protocols and work closely with PPC/SCADA supplier on control parameterizations and executing the required tests Validate tests results and ensuring that the project operates safely to contractual requirements Act as L3 support for O&M team during project lifetime by analysing and diagnosing system failures. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement corrective actions, system updates, or design changes aimed at improving reliability, safety, and performance of the BESS units. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or related discipline ~5+ years of experience working on utility-scale BESS projects. Extensive experience in issue diagnostics and troubleshooting during project O&M phase ~
