Our Key Account Manager is responsible for the active management and development of Key Accounts within the Geosynthetics segment. They drive profits and growth by understanding and meeting customer needs and developing strong partnerships. Whilst being actively accountable for managing existing and new accounts they seek out new sales opportunities to develop new business. A key to success is coordination with all business functions to ensure timely and professional customer service and product development support.

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for delivering of the AOP Plan: Sales and EBITDA of the Geosynthetics segment
  2. Develops and implements business plan to support budget achievement and business segment strategy.
  3. UK (30%) & occasional overseas travel required
  4. Follows up on key quotations , update and manage the company CRM system
  5. Anticipates market trends and customer needs and positions the company to have a competitive advantage.
  6. Sales support activities such as: Tender & completing tender documentation. Liaising with production planning & relevant departments to ensure smooth processing of tenders through to order. Build strong relationships within the Distribution Network.
  7. Works within a cross functional team
  8. Uses and gathers market and competition data in order to identify opportunities for increased market share.
  9. Suggests and initiates product developments based on customer needs and market surveys. Provides information and support to R&D for product innovation and development.
  10. Take ownership for the relationship between customers and all departments within production site.
  11. Develops new business and adds new distribution points in both existing and new segments/markets.

Qualifications

  • Degree in civil engineering preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' of relevant work experience
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Fluent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Additional language preferred, but not essential
  • Full Driving Licence
