Technical Sales/Sales engineers will be part of a dynamic group of colleagues that works with both key end-users to support the ACRE sales team with concepts, design, pre-sales activities, vertical specific campaigns, customer demos and other value add activities in the assigned territories. Each Sales Engineer will have an assigned geographical area but work together with their colleagues as a pre-sales team to support all markets where ACRE do business. The Focus for this role will be to support growth in the UK & Ireland market supporting the direct sales team selling their market leading Workplace solutions. This role reports to the Sales Engineer Team Lead daily.
Provide technical guidance and support throughout the entire sales cycle. 
- Support the sales team creating both technical and commercial proposals.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities together with the sales teams. 
- Work closely with the operation teams (global technical support, Projects and customer excellence) and internal stakeholders. 
- Provide detailed and accurate reporting in the CRM tool. 
- Supervise and ensure a proper sales-to-project hand over of secure orders. 
- Assist Sales on the technical pre-sales requirements to demonstrate the TDS Products and support with any complex queries that arise from customers which Sales team require assistance. 
- Identify when business requirements coming from new opportunities conflict with technical capabilities and advise bridging software and business. 
- Provide technical guidance to the Sales and Project teams and assist the organization of proof of concept and implementation projects. 
- Provide guidance to delivery teams on technical blockers within projects to support keeping delivery times on track.
- Provide sales teams with technical support for Scoping customers' requests including Cloud Infrastructure, APIs, Integrations and Network Diagrams.
