About the Company: Noriker Power specializes in agile power systems vital for grid stability and flexible energy solutions. As an end-to-end provider of battery storage with over 300MW of advanced battery facilities, HSE considerations are of paramount importance.
Who are you?You are STEM degree educated with experience working in an engineering or infrastructure environment. You may even have IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications. As an engineer, you get excited at the prospect of ensuring HSE needs are at the core of our cutting-edge battery storage projects.
On top of this, you will:
- Have experience working in an HSE capacity in an engineering, construction, or maintenance environment
- Be able to actively communicate with colleagues company-wide, sharing HSE best practices
- Have a working knowledge of the UK HSE regulations and compliance framework
- Be a positive, self-motivated individual who proactively solves problems before they arise
- Have a strong sense of personal responsibility, being motivated by a job well done
- Believe that positive outcomes are the inevitable result of collective hard work
You will be:
- Planning, implementing, and maintaining Noriker's HSE management system policies and procedures
- Supporting projects from proposal and planning to delivery in HSE requirements
- Providing HSE inductions for personnel, monitoring HSE behavior during construction and operations, and arranging training where necessary
- Conducting HSE inspections, incident investigations, and audits, assisting resultant action plan implementation
- Ensuring contractor engagement meets with Noriker's HSE standards on-site
- Maintaining all relevant records
- Reporting on company and contractor HSE performance to stakeholders
