The Role:
Youll work in one of ourvibrant virtual learning centres alongside a supportive team tonurture 100s of fearless learners who attend their sessions everyweek.

Your key objectives are to:
● Teach - bring ourmission to life; tailor your teaching approach and support our membersto achieve consistent progress
● Inspire– build strongrelationships; inspire all children to become fearless learners
●Demonstrate Progress– support children to recognise progress; developtheir reflective skills to be able to identify their own progress
● Deliver quality customer experience - inspire your members andtheir families; support their needs to ensure they get the most of ourservice whilst prioritising safeguarding and member wellbeing at alltimes

Logistics: The application process:

Stage one: Submityour cv and complete your application.

Stage two: Completean assessment that involves a short maths and English test and a2-question video interview.

Stage three: Take part in alive Teams interview with a member of our recruitment team.

How does it work?:
● Youll work consistent hours per week; youcan request as many hours as youd like as long as its more than yourminimum of 8 contracted weekly hours
● Youll work with the samechildren every week
● Our shifts are after school hours, andweekends
● Youll be paid hourly based on your age, and the numberof hours you work

Your starting hourly pay will be:
Under 18 – £7.30
18-20 – £8.80
21+ – £11.60

*All tutors receive further uplifts to their base hourly pay due toholiday entitlement and based on the number of hours they have worked.On top of your tutoring shifts, you will be paid for all of yourtraining and induction sessions.

To qualify, youll need
● A grade 6 or above in maths and English Language GCSE (orequivalent)
● To be age 17 or over
● To have a right to workin the UK and be living in the UK for the duration of youremployment
● To have access to a laptop or desktop computer withstable internet connection during tuition sessions - minimum 5mbpsupload and 10mbps download speed
● Have more than 8 hoursavailability during our opening times (after school and weekends)

All successful applicants will undertake employment referencechecks, and a Disclosure & Barring Service check or PVG check. Pleasenote, this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
