Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed
The post holder will report to the ICT Mobility Services Team Lead and be part of a busy team providing mobility services to staff of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB). This is an exciting time for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board as mobile technology is adopted to deliver digital patient facing services within the context of multiple health board wide mobilisation projects.
The team will provision, maintain and support mobile devices and their infrastructure but also be customer focused in delivering an effective and efficient service. The successful post holder will provide a high level of technical expertise to both the Mobile Services and other ICT teams so that the Mobility Service meets the changing needs of the organisation as the workforce becomes more mobile in order to meet the Digital Health and Social Care and Clinical Futures Strategies.
The post holder will report to the ICT Mobility Services Team Lead and be part of a busy team providing mobile services to staff of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB). This is an exciting time for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board as mobile technology is adopted to deliver digital patient facing services within a variety of projects and programmes.
The team provision, maintain and support mobile devices and their infrastructure but are also customer focused in delivering an effective and efficient service. The successful post holder will provide a high level of technical expertise to both the Mobile Services and other ICT teams so that the Mobility Service meets the changing needs of the organisation as the workforce becomes more mobile in order to meet the Digital Health and Social Care and Clinical Futures Strategies.
The post requires a self -motivated individual, who is able to effectively manage and able to demonstrate excellent customer service; have excellent planning skills; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

ITIL V3 Foundation in Service Management
Significant understanding of mobile phone / Smart phone technology and MDM (Mobile Device Management) Systems
Relevant experience in a mobility support or ICT support environment
Good knowledge and experience of mobile devices & their configuration via MDM
Knowledge and exposure to ITIL methodology in a work based environment
Significant experience of technical ICT work
Experience of working on large scale mobile device deployment projects
Management of mobile device service within agreed SLA's
Ability to work in a high pressure technical environment meeting tight deadlines and service delivery targets
Ability to translate technical information easily in non-technical language
Technical understanding of data systems including LAN, WAN, WLAN network infrastructure
Good understanding of Office 365
Works on own initiative but also ensures an inclusive relationship with the other Mobility team members and ICT
Flexible approach to work and adaptable.
Able to travel between sites in and outside of the Health Board as demanded by the job
To work in the UK, all candidates who are not UK or Republic of Ireland (RoI) nationals require sponsorship to obtain either a Health and Care visa or Skilled Worker visa , unless you have permission to work via another route.
