MDH Recruitment are working with our client, an industry leader within their field, who are currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at their site in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire.

Hours of work - 37 hours per week

(Apply online only) Mon-Thu

(Apply online only) Fri

Duties

* To work safely on all types of equipment - mechanical, hydraulics & pneumatics (and some electrical) ensuring plant, production equipment, site services and facilities are all maintained to the highest level in order to minimise downtime.

* Your role will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, diagnosis, reporting and tracking.

* Respond promptly to plant downtime to maximise throughput.

* Repair and replace damaged equipment.

* Record work completed using CMMS

* Interrogate, fault find, and resolve equipment problems.

* Engage in continuous improvement activities and meetings.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

* Participate in projects as required.

* Your role will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, diagnosis, reporting and tracking.

Qualifications

* Served experience on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and plc-controlled manufacturing equipment

* Controls and PLC experienced (desirable not essential)
