A Wordings Specialist is required to join aleading insurance company which is recognised for Business Insuranceand Home Insurance based in London. As the Wordings Specialist, youwill be joining a highly reputable insurance company which pridethemselves on their diverse range of customers whilst providing atailored service to adapt to their customers needs.

About the Wordings Specialist Role:

  • Workwith numerous arms of the business to provide legal advice to thedevelopment of new products and maintaining existing products andservices
  • Undertaking a range of commercial matters whichwill include drafting and negotiating marketing materials, policywordings and online quote and buy journeys
  • Ensuring allpolicy compliance is met in line with up to date legislation
  • Assisting various departments with related product queries
  • Undertake a variety of matters in relation to other regulatoryand legal projects
  • Developing and implementing newwordings, coverage enhancements and endorsements for Commercial andPersonal lines
  • Opportunity to work across all areas of thebusiness to include Professions, Commercial and Personal Lines andproducts across direct, broker and e-trade channels.

As the Wordings Specialist you will:

  • Work in an established and dynamic team with excellent workingrelationships across the business
  • Have the opportunity todevelop experience within a breadth of different departments andproducts across direct, broker and e-trade channels.
  • Havethe ability to work autonomously and part of a wider team, workingcollaboratively across the business
  • Be a Qualified lawyeror Wordings Specialist ideally with a background in the insuranceindustry either in-house or within private practice.
  • Strongunderstanding of matters within insurance & contract law and financialservices regulation (Competition law and Data Protection is desirable)
