As a People ServicesAdvisor, you willbe responsible for supporting and delivering day-to-day transactional HR and administration of the People Services department, with a specific focus on supporting and advising middle management across the Group on people management processes.
Here's a flavour of what you'll be doing
:
Monitoring the department inbox and respond to day-to-day enquiries (both internal and external) in a timely and efficient manner
Timely administration of new starters, leavers, variations to contracts, and processing of offers of employment ensuring the quality of work meets departmental and organisational expectations
As delegated by the Senior People Services Advisor and the Head of People Services, attending ER meetings as HR support, taking notes and providing sound advice
Acting as the point of contact for Dawson Recruit into People Services, in collating and distributing offers of employment and ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies
Collaboratingwith cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support organisational goals
Contributingto the production of information reports and data analysis as required by People Services management
Qualifications:
CIPD, or equivalent, qualified
Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, with a solid understanding of HR principles and practices
Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility at all levels of the organisation
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
High level of discretion and confidentiality
