JOB DESCRIPTION:

Production Planner, Demand Planner - Adhesives, Industrial Consumables

As our Production Planner / Demand Planner you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth production planning process from raw material getting to site to product delivery to the customer. You will also be responsible for:

  • Being the interface between Business Assistants, Customer Service and Production.
  • Ensuring correct and timely requests for raw materials.
  • Working in accordance with company's values, HR and HS&E policies: instructions, minimum requirements and guidelines.
  • Overseeing stock checks and advise on safety stock requirements.
  • Providing short-term cover for site logistics specialist.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Production Planner, Demand Planner - Adhesives, Industrial Consumables

Your planning experience will ideally come from a manufacturing environment where REACH / COSHH / COMAH regulations are a consideration. This isn't a prerequisite but would be hugely beneficial. You will also have some experience or exposure to SAP or similar MERPS in a manufacturing environment. In addition, you will have:

  • A good standard of education
  • Solid Excel capabilities and comfortable with all office systems
  • Excellent knowledge of production processes
  • Demonstrable experience in the field of Planning and/or logistics

We are a synthetic resin manufacturer based in the UK. We produce an ever-widening range of resins primarily based on unsaturated polyester and alkyd chemistry. We also manufacture a range of speciality resins with urethane, epoxy, and acrylic functionality.
