We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as the Head of Nutrition and Dietetics. The successful post holder will be central to overseeing and advancing our nutrition and dietetics department. To be accountable for the delivery of a high quality and safe clinical dietetic service and contributing to the smooth operation of patient care pathways
Responsible for developing services within a Quality and Governance framework
Promote the involvement of Dietetics at all levels across the Trust and the wider IPC through proactive team working

Educated to degree level or equivalent with further specialist qualification in Dietetics at Masters level or equivalent
Post graduate training in paediatric Dietetics at Masters level or equivalent
Extensive experience of training and experience of supporting and supervising post graduate students
Evidence of professional activity at national level, contribution to policy and practice guidelines
Extensive experience in a senior NHS leadership role
Experience of audit and quality cycle, and integration of learning into practice
Expert clinical skills in specialist professional practice with the ability to deliver complex and sensitive information to carers and children
Demonstrate an understanding of the practices of equality and inclusion in the delivery of this role
Punctual and flexible across hours of work when required
