Head of Health, Safety & Compliance Location: On-site in South Wales Salary: Six-figure package + car allowance + bonus + private healthcare + pension LHH is delighted to support one of our clients to appoint their Head of Health, Safety & Compliance to lead safety strategy for a multi-billion-pound megaproject that will transform the industry and accelerate the transition to a green, decarbonized future. This is a rare opportunity to influence world-class standards on one of the largest engineering ventures of its kind. What you’ll do: Develop and implement a comprehensive Safety, Health & Environmental strategy for a major capital project. Ensure compliance with CDM and COMAH regulations and manage relationships with regulatory bodies. Provide expert advisory services to project teams and drive cultural change across the organization. Lead risk management throughout all project phases and benchmark best practices. What you’ll bring: Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects. Deep knowledge of Safety, Health & Environmental legislation and CDM regulations. Degree-level education and professional H&S qualifications (Chartered status preferred). Strong leadership, influencing skills, and experience in change management.
