Role: Unit Ward Manager
Platinum are working with a specialised healthcare provider in Brighton. They provide a range of intensive support and rehabilitation services for people with mental health needs as well as elderly patients with dementia.
Our client has a unique set up with 3 floors with a residential care home setting as well as a private hospital setting for mental health patients.
As a unit ward manager you will receive:

Our client in Brighton is looking for a unit ward manager who has experience in managing a ward either in the NHS or privately. This is a full time position, working 5 days - 42 hours a week.
To co-ordinate the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment with 24-hour responsibility for staffing.
Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care.
Manage and direct the delivery of clinical services within the ward, ensuring it complies with statutory regulations, current legislation and meets quality standards.Registered on the NMC register, Mental Health
Experience in working in and site management of an inpatient setting, preferable acute or PICU
Experience as a Senior Nurse / Charge Nurse
Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983/2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005, guarding,
DOLS & the latest nursing practices Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk
