Senior Vice President, Prepaid Management ServicesOverview

The SVP Product, Mastercard Prepaid Management Services (MPMS) is the product co-founder of the program and will have responsibility for MPMS offering, its operation, revenue targets and delivery on a global scale.

Reporting directly to the EVP, Global Issuer Processing and Prepaid Services, this role has ultimate responsibility for the success of the product and program by leading the development and execution of MPMS offering, associated go-to-market plans, as well as customized region-specific strategies. Working closely with the Engineering co-founder who has ultimate accountability for all application quality, developer productivity, adherence to technology and interoperability policies, and the technology run state of the program. Together with the Engineering co-founder chairing the MPMS Leadership Team, the incumbent will work very closely with global and regional management, business development and customer delivery and be responsible for providing leadership throughout Mastercard in understanding potential prepaid program management opportunities.

This role requires strong strategic thinking with a demonstrable ability to lead a product function, drive growth across multiple markets, a solid payments business orientation, proven cross-departmental leadership in a matrixed environment, detailed knowledge of the payments value chain, an innovation mind-set and strong leadership capabilities.

Role

• Ultimate accountability for product success across all dimensions (strategy, roadmap, go-to-market, customer experience, revenue and profitability, achievement of KPIs, etc.,)
• Responsible for setting and communicating product vision and strategy – working with regional partners to align with, and become incorporated into regional strategies
• Identifying and understanding market developments, the competitive landscape, regulatory evolutions through overseeing the research and development agenda. Leveraging market insights, research and best practices
• Responsible for product development and delivery – working across Product and Engineering to align solutions, delivery operating model, capacity management, etc. so ensure delivery agility and quality
• Responsible for growing internal and external partnerships to complement the MPMS organic product capabilities and deliver a richer value proposition for customers
• Driving the go-to-market strategy – understanding customer needs and incorporating into program/product roadmaps improvements required to delight our customers. Supporting regional deals and bringing global opportunities to relevant regions
• Lead, build and develop an inclusive team with the Mastercard way at its core. Coaching and developing them to achieve their potential, driving a high-performance culture, assessing talent needs regularly
• Key contact for global MPMS opportunities
• Act as a subject matter expert/strategic thought leader and spokesperson for MPMS capabilities both internally and externally

All About You
• Strong experience in payments ecosystem. Knowledge of the payments value chain and key drivers within the payments industry, including emerging trends and pressures
• Demonstrable experience in managing complex businesses across multiple geographies, with a focus on driving revenues
• Extensive background in product management and delivery, with demonstrated experience developing and delivering to market segment and product solutions
• Skilled at leveraging internal and external partnerships and collaborations to drive a complete solution
• Experience in strategy development and implementation
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including proven ability to work with and influence people across a matrix organization at all levels
• Self starter who demonstrates ownership
• Adept at managing internal stakeholders in terms of engagement, communication and transparency of purpose
