A rare, Cambridge based VP of Marketing opportunity to be part of a vibrant and rapidly expanding global software company, who are currently listed on the LSE. Their mission is straightforward - to enhance productivity and bring joy to people's lives Their software is already the trusted choice across diverse industries. Notably, they proudly serve around 30% of the top 100 accounting firms in the United Kingdom and around 20% of the top 100 accounting firms in Australasia. You’ll join the senior leadership team as the strategic, charismatic, and analytical Vice President of Marketing. As a key player reporting directly to the President, you will take the lead in driving their growth, leveraging your successful track record of scaling businesses from circa £10m to £50m. Responsibilities: As the Vice President of Marketing, you will:

  • Assimilate institutional knowledge and conduct research to formulate an aggressive marketing strategy for diverse markets, products, and go-to-market strategies
  • Drive growth through optimising engagement and conversion across partner and customer journeys
  • Execute a comprehensive marketing plan, deploying tools ranging from traditional hardcopy mailers to cutting-edge AI-generated personalised omni-channel campaigns
  • Oversee all aspects of communication, internally and externally, managing demand gen assets, brand, visual identity, design, product positioning/marketing, PR, presentations, events, partner relationships, and content
Key Duties:
  • Continuously evolve strategies, understanding emerging trends and implementing a variety of tactics to ensure ongoing innovation
  • Balance creative instincts with the need to define, measure, and communicate success through tangible metrics
  • Manage demands and expectations from various levels within the organization, utilizing a developed framework to prioritize, focus, and communicate effectively
  • Establish a strong presence working directly with partners and customers, ready to represent the company on a global stage
Essential Skills:
  • 5+ years in high-growth agile software organisations
  • 5+ years in senior marketing leadership roles (C, VP, or Director level)
  • Proven success in developing and executing growth marketing and product marketing strategy for multiple products, markets, and go-to-market methodologies
  • Demonstrated track record in demand generation and conversion in both partner and customer marketing strategies
  • Deep understanding of core marketing principles, including human psychology and behavior
  • Digital marketing expertise across content, social, community, paid, organic, and account-based strategies
  • Experience in facilitating team growth within a scaling organisation
  • Proficiency in building, administering, and leveraging various marketing tech and automation stacks
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in businesses providing SME productivity software
  • Broad understanding of business operations across multiple sectors, especially professional services
  • Familiarity with InfoSec, compliance, and regulatory concerns
