We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, managing IT infrastructure, and implementing technology solutions to enhance business operations.
Technical Support: Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment. Ensure the stability and security of the company’s IT infrastructure.
System & Server Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Maintain and monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services.
Network Management: Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, systems, and networks from threats. Ensure regular backups are performed and data integrity is maintained.
Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures. Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
As a well rounded IT professional your skills and experience likely include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Significant experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
Experience with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or relevant vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS).
