The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all lifting operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and optimising operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed lifting plans, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all operations are executed safely and efficiently.
- Compliance: Ensure all lifting activities comply with relevant health and safety legislation, standards, and guidelines.
- Team Management: Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors to execute lifting operations effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of lifting plans, risk assessments, and safety briefings.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during lifting operations promptly and effectively.
- Certification: CPCS Accredited Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or heavy industry sectors.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of lifting operations, equipment, and health and safety regulations.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various sites across Scotland as required.
