European E/CTRM Software Managing Director - €160-250k + bonus + equity – based from anywhere in Europe
Bramwith Consulting has been retained by a global multi commodity ETRM / CTRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management / Commodity Trading & Risk Management) software house who seek an experienced Managing Director to lead their European consulting business.

Based from anywhere in Europe ( so you could be based from home in Madrid, London, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Brussels, Zurich, Geneva, Budapest, Dusseldorf etc ), but you’ll need to be mobile and happy to travel to different offices across Europe as this is very much a people leadership role, whilst also having you responsible for Profit & Loss (P&L) of the whole European consulting business.

You will not be selling or managing implementations directly etc but you will need to get involved from time to time in meeting clients, so this is a customer facing role, so needs a leader with some sales or sales leadership experience.

My client are not one of the old US E/CTRM businesses, but are a very modern, Cloud / Saas, established global E/CTRM software business, who have a global footprint but are headquartered in Europe, so this is a pivotal role reporting into the Global CEO who will be active but will expect you to be autonomous and lead the European business. Salary: €160-250k basic + bonus + benefits + equity

is 100% essential that you have a proven and substantial career track record (10 years+) gained working in ETRM / or CTRM software from a senior management / leadership perspective. This experience is 100% essential, preferably with experience in Power, Gas, LNG and/or Oil Trading software


~ experience working for a direct E/CTRM software house competitor would be very very highly desired, working in a Director or above role. This could be in a similar MD role, but you will need to have some exposure working in or managing E/CTRM sales related team, as this role includes working with the internal teams to develop the company’s software, go-to-market strategy and using your network to help the sales need where you can


is very much the spoken language so you will need to be business fluent in English , but it would be useful if you have fluency in other European languages such as French, German and Spanish.
