Richmond Pharmacology is a leading Contract Research Organisation (CRO) specialising in early-phase clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we strive to advance medical research and contribute to the development of life-changing therapies.
The main purpose of the Commercial Project Manager position within Richmond Pharmacology is to provide efficient oversight and coordination of commercial projects to ensure their successful execution. With a focus on contract management, financial tracking and project planning, the role is pivotal in driving project efficiency and seamless communication among stakeholders.
By preparing and updating contracts, managing financial aspects, and coordinating vendors, the Commercial Project Manager contributes significantly to the organisations ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Develop and prepare the initial high-level timelines prior to contract execution, working with relevant stakeholders to outline the key milestones, deliverables and major activities that are to be accomplished throughout the duration of the study.
Manage study budgets by reviewing the finalised protocol to ensure accurate financial planning. Prepare change orders as required to guarantee financial alignment and effective resource utilisation.
Maintain and update the Payment Schedule Calculator on a monthly basis to ensure the financial aspects of the project are well managed and both Richmond Pharmacology and the sponsor have a clear understanding of the payment schedule throughout the project's lifecycle.
Track and report monthly PV, external monitoring, screen failure and other project related costs and liaising with finance to create invoice reports and ensuring the invoices are paid by the sponsor.
Update the monitoring visit tracker to maintain accurate records and facilitate oversight of study progress.
Prepare and actively participate in Commercial/Contract kick-off meetings, ensuring there is an in depth understanding of project requirements and objectives from the outset.
Conduct a review of The Doctor Laboratory Pricing/Supplemental Agreement (TDL PSA) from a budget perspective, contributing to the optimisation of project financial planning and management.
BSc or above in life Sciences, Accounting, Commercial/Business Management
Minimum of 5 year's experience working within a Commercial PM position
Extensive experience in managing projects
Demonstrable experience in contract management
Good financial acumen
