Position: Experienced Property Manager for Short-Term Rental Business

Location: London, around Harrods

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Property Manager to oversee the operations of our premium short-term rental flats in the prestigious area around Harrods, London. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the short-term rental market, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record in property management. This role demands expertise in managing daily operations, guest interactions, housekeeping, maintenance, and the implementation of effective systems and software to enhance our business's efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our rental properties, ensuring each flat is maintained to the highest standard and ready for guest arrivals.
  • Customer Interactions: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests from booking through departure, providing exceptional service, handling inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance Coordination: Manage the scheduling and quality control of cleaning and maintenance services, ensuring all properties meet our high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
  • Systems and Software Implementation: Critically evaluate, select, and implement technology solutions including channel managers and payment gateways to streamline operations, improve guest experience, and optimize occupancy rates. This responsibility includes training staff on new systems and ensuring seamless integration into our current processes.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and optimizing operational costs while ensuring profitability.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Monitor local market trends and competitor activities to recommend pricing and marketing strategies, ensuring maximum visibility and revenue.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with local laws, regulations, and short-term rental industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property management, specifically within the short-term rental or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the short-term rental market, particularly in London.
  • Experience in implementing and managing property management systems, channel managers, and payment processing platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests, staff, and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks efficiently.
