Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, or possible Maintenance Fitter, to work within a well-established manufacturer.
- Salary c£45,000 per annum + Bonus + 5% Pension + Overtime pay
- Mornings and Afternoons rotational shift pattern midweek. Hours are 6:00am to 2:15pm on mornings, and 3:20pm to 11:40pm on evenings Monday to Friday.
- An experienced Maintenance Engineer with both Electrical and Mechanical skills. Electrical bias is preferred, but not essential.
- Flexible to work a rotating mornings / evening shift pattern.
- Someone who enjoys working with a range of plant machinery and variety within their work.
- PPM experience as there is little reactive maintenance involved within this role.
- Stable employer who values and recognize the work of their staff. Part of a larger engineering group with a fantastic reputation.
- Opportunity to work within a modern facility within a structured maintenance team.
- Fantastic tenure across the team, the average being over 10 years. The position has been created due to an impending retirement.
- Stacks of variety between both electrical and mechanical duties – roughly an even 50/50 split.
- Responsibility for maintaining Two Production Lines working a ‘Just in Time’ sequence operation.
- Perform PPM activity & adhering to a Planned Preventative Schedule.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance duties – very much a 50/50 split.
- Supporting the wider engineering team where required. There is a team collective and ideally we are seeking someone who can keep driving improvements within maintenance.
- Working independently on shift. We need someone who is comfortable working with minimal supervision.
