Solution Architect(WFM)/ 6 month contract / Day rate negotiable / Hybrid

Here at Primark we have an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Solution Architect to join us on an initial 6 month contract with hybrid working where you must be willing to travel to our Reading office 1 day per week.
We are all about blending technology with the world of fashion, home goods, and more to craft memorable shopping experiences that bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds.
The person will own and document the end-to-end architecture design of the solution with the WFM project team. The Solution Architect will work with the business and Technology teams to produce the Solution Architecture Design including the applications, integrations, data/information, security, service, device, infrastructure. They will work on projects to ensure they are delivered to agreed architecture standards within Primark. Responsible for the end-to-end design for Global WFM at Primark in collaboration with WFM project team, Technology and Business stakeholders
• Provides detailed guidance to multi-functional teams through project planning and other large collaboration efforts. Develops long term vision of technologies and solutions in the space. Collaborates with Technology leadership in planning and implementing of technology roadmaps. Support delivery projects in accounting for solution infrastructure from an operational and supportability perspective and that all non-functional requirements (including SLAs (Service Level Agreement) for business continuity, availability and scalability, security) are addressed in the solution.
• Ensure that the solution architecture balances functional, service quality and operational management requirements but remains bound by relevant commercial, business function and technical constraints.
• Ability to provide direction and take design ownership for projects which are delivered by a highly technical team that supports a complex environment which includes:
Batch processes, Payroll, Time, and Attendance applications
Data design
Negotiate with key stakeholders involving prioritisation of projects and resources.
• Responsible for identifying cross directorate and cross project dependencies, risks and activities and negotiating resolution to conflict.
• Providing Technical design assurance for new project and technical system upgrades and enhancements for both the business and suppliers, particularly in SaaS/PaaS/Cloud. Experience in TOGAF and ITIL methodologies and designing delivering using these
