As a Division OF UKFC, Passive Fire’s aim is to provide inspection, maintenance of Fire Doors and Fire Stopping.

Role

The role of the Sales & Estimating Manager is to be responsible for the Passive Fire Division from its services,growth of a team and the on-going growth proposition to the markets we serve.

  • Produce estimates for fire door inspections, maintenance and Fire Stopping Surveys for works to be undertaken
  • Negotiate on price, costs and delivery with customers
  • Offering technical advice and solutions to clients
  • Prospecting customers on sales opportunities
  • Select and manage sub-contractors ensuring customer and industry requirements are satisfied.
  • Prepare and review weekly reports to show operational productivity, employed & sub-contractor performance, revenuegenerated and invoice of works.
  • Ensure prompt and effective communication is made with customers to ensure customer concerns and complaints aredealt with.
  • Support the business in achieving industry accreditations.
  • Any other duties as requested by the Board within reason and related to the UKFC business.

  • Must have 3 years estimating experience in the passive fire sector.
  • Have had hands on experience.
  • Self-motivated with strong commercial and operation focus
  • Competent leadership skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the Fire Risk sector, standards and working practices.
  • Qualified in line with the industry standards.
  • Good networker (externally & internally
  • Budget management and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for exceeding expectations
  • Adaptable & Flexible to respond to the changing needs of the business.
